This multidisciplinary degree builds expertise in public health services, health data, planning, research and management for population physical and mental health. You’ll explore psychosocial and environmental influences on wellbeing, public health and healthcare systems, then develop analytical and planning skills to design evidence-based approaches aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In third year you can specialise in Health Data or Health Sciences, or take an accelerated bachelor-master pathway.

Graduates are prepared for diverse roles supporting community and population health across government, healthcare and NGOs. Career options include community development officer, health project consultant, health research officer, and roles in health data such as health data management officer or health data scientist. The course also supports professional engagement through membership pathways with public health and epidemiology associations, building networks for work in health services, research and program planning.
