This course prepares you to support mobility and improve quality of life through evidence-based foot and lower-limb care. You’ll build strong foundations in biomechanics and clinical assessment, then develop hands-on skills through practical learning and experience in QUT Health Clinics. Graduates are positioned for strong employability in a growing allied health area. This is a Bachelor degree in podiatry. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates can work as podiatrists delivering assessment, treatment and prevention for foot and lower-limb conditions across the lifespan. Career pathways include private practice, community and hospital clinics, multidisciplinary allied health services, and specialised areas such as paediatrics, high-risk foot care and biomechanics/orthotics. Roles often involve patient education and rehabilitation planning. This is a Bachelor-level pathway to podiatry practice. Preparing graduates for nursing, allied health, and community care professional registration and graduate roles.
