关于课程
The Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours)—Humanities and Social Sciences is a research-focused four-year undergraduate program for intellectually curious students who want to pursue advanced study beyond standard coursework. It combines strong disciplinary training across humanities and social sciences with a distinctive emphasis on Asia-Pacific regional understanding. Students join an interdisciplinary cohort, receive close academic mentoring, and can shape a flexible program around their interests.
你可能学到什么
You develop advanced academic and research capability through tailored PhB-only coursework, seminars and close supervision from leading researchers. The program builds critical thinking, independent inquiry and high-level analysis across humanities and social science approaches, with opportunities to integrate transdisciplinary problem-solving. In later years you undertake a substantial independent research project, often supported by fieldwork, internships or exchange experiences.
职业成果
Graduates are prepared for research and analysis pathways across government, policy, international affairs, NGOs, cultural and heritage organisations, media, think tanks and consultancy. The strong grounding in critical thinking, regional and global perspectives, and research methods supports roles such as policy or research officer, analyst, program or project officer, intelligence/strategic analyst, communications or advocacy roles, and provides a strong foundation for postgraduate study.
Entry requirements
