ACU’s Bachelor of Arts develops broad, transferable skills for a changing world through study across the arts, humanities and social sciences. You build interdisciplinary knowledge, research and critical thinking, communication, digital literacy and creative storytelling. With a choice of many majors and minors and opportunities for overseas study, the degree supports tailoring your studies to interests and career goals in the humanities disciplines. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.

Graduates may work across government and non-government sectors in roles involving policy and community development, consulting and public relations, and social or cultural research. The degree can also support pathways into education and careers in media and communications, publishing and journalism, humanitarian services, conservation and museums, and the creative industries. Outcomes vary by chosen major, with the Bachelor of Arts grounding careers in arts and humanities fields. Preparing graduates for graduate employment, professional traineeships, and further postgraduate study.
