The Nutrition Stream within Curtin’s BSc (Nutrition and Food Science) deepens students’ understanding of evidence linking diet to health outcomes. You will examine social and cultural influences on food choices and complete a nutrition professional placement to build career identity and support transition to work or postgraduate study. This is an undergraduate nutrition stream in nutrition and food science. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates develop foundations for work as nutritionists and for further specialisation in areas such as dietetics, research, food science and technology, health promotion or teaching. The stream includes professional placement experience and prepares graduates to seek Association Nutritionist membership with the Nutrition Society of Australia. This is an undergraduate nutrition stream in nutrition and food science. Preparing graduates for nursing, allied health, and community care professional registration and graduate roles.
