The Bachelor of Nursing prepares you to become a registered nurse, building foundational knowledge and practical skills to support people across acute, chronic and complex health needs. You’ll study on campus and develop capability in patient-centred care, clinical decision-making and professional practice for diverse healthcare settings. This is an undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Wollongong. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates may work as registered nurses across hospitals, community and primary care, mental health, disability and aged care settings. Career paths can include specialist nursing roles in areas such as critical care and perioperative nursing, as well as progression into education, management, consultancy or research-focused positions with experience.
