Linguistics at UWA explores how language works, from speech sounds and word structure to meaning, communication, and how languages vary across societies and cultures. You’ll develop analytical skills to describe and interpret language in real contexts, linking language to human behaviour and social organisation. This is an undergraduate course focused on language and communication within the Arts & Humanities.
