This honours stream groups advanced planning units within Curtin’s undergraduate degree structure, focusing on contemporary urban and regional planning practice. You study integrated approaches to shaping cities and regions, considering land use, infrastructure, policy and community outcomes. To take this stream, you apply for an eligible Curtin degree and enrol in the stream as part of your course plan in Architecture & Building at bachelor (honours) level. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.

Completing this honours planning stream can support pathways into professional urban and regional planning work across government and private consulting.
