This four-year undergraduate program is designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students preparing to teach across the full primary curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 6. You’ll build foundations in curriculum and pedagogy and complete extensive professional experience placements. Delivered in block mode at Bankstown, it supports study alongside community and cultural responsibilities while meeting NSW teacher accreditation standards for primary teaching. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.

Graduates can pursue teaching roles across Kindergarten to Year 6 in government and non-government primary schools, with experience suited to community-based and culturally responsive education contexts.
