2. Understanding Entry Requirements

Australian universities set clear entry requirements for applicants:

Academic Qualifications

For undergraduate entry, you’ll need results from A-Levels, an IB Diploma, or a Polytechnic Diploma, although there are fewer options for Polytechnic graduates.
For postgraduate entry, a Bachelors Degree is required.

Note: Only your academic results are considered. CCA records and recommendation letters are not taken into account, and selection is based solely on meeting the school’s entry requirements.

Admission Test

All Singapore recognised medical and/or dentistry programs will require you to take an admission test as part of the application process:

• ISAT

If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview to assess (but not limited to):

• How you approach and solve problems;
• Your communication skills and empathy;
• Your motivation and basic understanding of healthcare ethics;
• Your personal qualities and experiences;
• Why you want to study Medicine and why you chose that university.

The interview may be a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) or a panel interview.
