This doctoral research degree in Pharmacy develops your ability to generate new knowledge through original research, guided by experienced supervisors. You’ll undertake a research-intensive program culminating in a thesis that demonstrates independent, substantial contribution to the field. Curtin supports candidates with access to facilities, resources and opportunities to engage with the research community through conferences. You’ll build advanced, critical mastery of theoretical knowledge and its application, and learn to analyse and synthesise complex concepts. The course develops skills to generate and evaluate abstract ideas, design and evaluate research methods, and communicate sustained research arguments. You’ll learn to disseminate research plans and findings to peers and wider audiences, producing work that makes an original and substantial contribution to knowledge in Pharmacy & Pharmacology.
