The Doctor of Philosophy (Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences) is a graduate research degree centred on completing a substantial, original research project reported in a thesis. The program is designed to develop deep expertise and authority in a chosen field within medicine, dentistry or health sciences, with the thesis assessed externally and judged on originality and contribution to knowledge. Candidates work closely with a nominated supervisor and may commence during the year by arrangement.
