This Master of Sustainable Development explores contemporary sustainability challenges and practical solutions at global, regional and local levels. You’ll study areas such as urban and regional sustainability, climate change adaptation, sustainability ethics and education, and international development in Asia. The course offers flexibility through electives and opportunities for internships, practical projects or Masters-level research to build professional capability in sustainable development.

Graduates are prepared to lead sustainable development initiatives across business, government and non-government organisations. Career pathways may include sustainability or environmental officer roles, community development officer positions, sustainability consulting, and sustainability education. The degree also supports entrepreneurship in green and social impact ventures, and provides experience through internships or practical projects relevant to professional practice in environmental and sustainability fields.
