UniSQ’s Master of Learning and Teaching (Secondary) prepares graduates with a non-education bachelor degree to become qualified secondary school teachers. You’ll build curriculum and pedagogy knowledge, behaviour management skills and confidence to teach adolescents, with flexibility for prior learning and experience. The program includes supervised professional experience totalling 60 days and offers a wide range of teaching area specialisations. This is a master coursework qualification in Education & Teaching.

Graduates are eligible to apply for teacher registration and can pursue roles in state, Catholic and independent secondary schools across metropolitan, rural, remote and international contexts. The degree also develops transferable communication and educational management capabilities that support pathways beyond classrooms, including roles in sport and leisure services, coaching, personal training and broader human services settings. This is a master coursework qualification leading to careers in Education & Teaching.
