The Master of Environmental Law (MEnvLaw) develops expertise in a fast-evolving area of legal practice and policy. The course is suitable for both law and non-law graduates and is designed for professionals in government, legal practice, and the environmental and resources sectors. Students choose from a broad range of subjects focused on emerging national and international environmental law issues including water law, climate change law, native title land management, and planning and development.

Graduates may pursue or advance careers in environmental and planning law across private legal practice, government agencies and regulatory bodies. It is also relevant for policy, compliance and governance positions within public sector departments, NGOs, and industry organisations working on environmental and sustainability issues.
