This course develops advanced knowledge of disability and inclusion, grounded in contemporary research, legislation, policy and practice. You will critically engage with disability theory and lived experience, with content shaped by current national and international developments, including the UN disability rights framework and Australia’s NDIS context. The Master of Disability and Inclusion is designed for postgraduate coursework study in disability and inclusion across community and health sectors.

Graduates may pursue leadership, policy, advocacy and research-informed roles across disability, health and community services. The course supports work involving planning, community capacity building, inclusion initiatives, program development and evaluation, and rights-based practice within government and non-government organisations. It can also provide a pathway into further research study (including PhD) in disability and inclusion within community and health settings.
