The Master of Dietetics at Charles Darwin University is a graduate-entry program combining dietetics theory with extensive supervised practice. You’ll study across food systems, community and public health nutrition, research and clinical services, with a strong focus on culturally safe practice and addressing inequities in food, nutrition and health. The course includes 100 days of professional placements, including intensives at Casuarina and a full-time final-semester placement.

This qualification prepares graduates to work as dietitians designing and delivering nutrition programs for individuals, communities and populations. Career paths include clinical dietitian roles in hospitals, community and public health nutrition focused on disease prevention, food services roles in settings such as aged care or childcare, and positions in the food supply/food industry to improve access and affordability of healthy foods. Graduates may also work in sports nutrition to support performance.
