ACU’s Foundation Studies Program is a preparatory pathway for students who want to enter an ACU undergraduate degree but don’t hold a recognised Year 12 qualification. It builds academic confidence and university-ready study skills with strong personalised support, available on campus or online. The curriculum includes English and academic skills, mathematics, science and electives across areas such as humanities, law and business, helping you transition smoothly into undergraduate study in Australia.

This program is designed to prepare you for entry to most ACU undergraduate degrees rather than direct employment. Graduates develop core academic capabilities such as university-level writing, research, numeracy and independent learning, plus familiarity with ACU systems and expectations. Completion can support progression into a broad range of undergraduate study areas, providing a foundation for future careers across disciplines once an ACU bachelor degree is undertaken. Supporting progression into undergraduate degree programmes in the chosen discipline.
