Foundation pathway covering core academic and introductory engineering concepts to prepare students for undergraduate engineering and technology degrees at APU. The Foundation Programme (Engineering Route) (Foundation Studies) curriculum develops core academic skills, critical thinking, and discipline-specific foundations needed for progression into higher-level university study.

Intended for progression to bachelor study; supports future careers in engineering disciplines after completing an accredited undergraduate program. Graduates can progress to further degree pathways and entry-level opportunities connected to Engineering – Other, including roles that value analytical thinking, communication, and digital competency.
