This diploma provides a supported pathway into undergraduate study in the built environment at Bond University. Students gain a broad grounding in planning processes, building structures, land economy and environmental considerations, with flexibility to study part-time initially or complete the program in eight months full-time. The program is designed to build academic skills and confidence for progression into bachelor degrees in built environment disciplines. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.

The diploma supports entry into further study in areas such as property, construction management, quantity surveying, project management and architecture. With a focus on foundational built environment knowledge and strong academic support, it helps students transition toward professional roles in the Architecture & Building field. Preparing graduates for engineering technician, draftsperson, and technical service roles, or degree articulation.
