The Graduate Diploma in Science in Medicine (Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy) develops clinical capability in trauma-informed, psychodynamic psychotherapy for clients where trauma contributes to complex presentations such as anxiety, personality disorders, chronic depression and post-traumatic conditions. Delivered online and designed for clinicians with mental health experience, the course builds skills from ultra-brief and short-term interventions through to longer-form psychotherapy and supervision-focused practice.

Graduates may strengthen or extend their practice in trauma-informed psychotherapy across mental health and wellbeing settings. The course is relevant for clinicians such as psychologists, social workers, nurses, counsellors and psychotherapists working with complex trauma-related presentations, and may support roles in clinical services, community mental health, counselling services and multidisciplinary health teams. This is a Graduate Diploma focused on applied psychotherapy practice within Psychology.
