This Advanced Diploma builds skills for a career in building surveying, developed with industry to support registration requirements as a Building Surveyor (limited) or Building Inspector (limited) with the Victorian Building Authority. You learn to assess building compliance, safety standards and codes, and manage planning/building applications for residential and commercial projects up to three storeys. Study flexibly on campus at SMB or remotely via Teams. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
