This dual award builds practical skills for entry-level roles in fitness and community sport. You’ll develop foundational coaching techniques plus the ability to plan, program and instruct individual and group training sessions, including exercise for older clients. The course also introduces providing basic healthy eating information to clients, with teaching delivered by experienced industry practitioners in Certificate II–III level sport coaching and fitness. The programme builds patient care fundamentals, clinical assistance skills, and health workplace practice.
