This one-year honours program lets you take advanced study in social science while building strong research capability. You’ll combine coursework with an approved independent research project and complete a formal honours thesis under individual academic supervision. Study can be tailored to areas such as development, environment and society, or health and social policy, and may open pathways to higher postgraduate research study in social science. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
