This degree prepares you for professional practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine, with training in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and herbal dispensing. You build a solid foundation in biomedicine and broader health sciences to support safe, ethical, evidence-informed care and work effectively in interdisciplinary settings. Later years emphasise clinical skills, practical experience and specialised areas of practice. This is a Bachelor-level health qualification in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Graduates can pursue roles across clinical practice and complementary health industries. Career options include working as a private practitioner or in a clinic, practising as an acupuncturist, and contributing to Chinese herbal medicine services including dispensing. Opportunities may also exist in product development, management or sales within pharmaceutical and herbal companies, as well as in medical research and consultancy. This is a Bachelor-level pathway into Traditional Chinese Medicine careers.
