This degree prepares you to become a qualified speech pathologist supporting communication and swallowing across the lifespan. You’ll learn to assess and diagnose difficulties in speech, language, voice, fluency, multimodal communication and swallowing, and deliver person-centred, culturally sensitive, evidence-based intervention. The course includes professional practice and community engagement opportunities in Australia and overseas as part of a four-year Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology.

Graduates may work across a wide range of settings supporting children and adults with communication and swallowing needs. Career pathways include early intervention services, schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, mental health services, community health, aged care services, private practice and research roles. This prepares you for professional practice as a Bachelor-qualified speech pathologist in the speech pathology sector. Preparing graduates for nursing, allied health, and community care professional registration and graduate roles.
