This honours degree prepares you to tackle complex environmental challenges using engineering science and sustainable practice. You’ll build capability in areas such as hydrology, geomechanics, environmental chemistry and pollution control, and learn to collaborate with specialists to optimise resources and minimise long-term impacts. The program includes professional practice and elective pathways, supporting industry-ready skills for a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (Honours).

Graduates can work across industry and government on projects that protect and rehabilitate environments, improve water and land management, and support climate adaptation. Typical employment includes environmental engineering consultancies, contractors, engineering companies, research organisations and public agencies. Roles may span design, fieldwork and project leadership, such as environmental impact consultant, remediation specialist, water reclamation designer, or toxic materials control engineer for a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (Honours).
