UWA’s Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) is a four-year undergraduate program designed to prepare you for contemporary nursing practice. You’ll build strong clinical and professional foundations and complete extensive supervised placements across a range of settings, including hospital, community and telehealth services. Study can be undertaken from Perth (online or on campus) or regionally (online), with practical training and placements supported across WA in nursing. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates are prepared for entry to professional nursing practice across a wide range of healthcare contexts. Career pathways can include roles in public and private hospitals, outpatient and community health services, aged care, primary care and telehealth-supported services. The honours qualification also supports future study and pathways into quality improvement, leadership and research-informed practice, building a platform for long-term careers in nursing. Preparing graduates for nursing, allied health, and community care professional registration and graduate roles.
