The Bachelor of Music provides advanced training across a variety of musical disciplines through an immersive and practical curriculum including music core studies, music electives and breadth subjects. In the Interactive Composition major, students develop commercially led, collaborative skills to create music and sound for contemporary media contexts and platforms, supported by practical, theoretical and conceptual study.

Graduates are prepared to create music and sound for contemporary media and platform-based contexts, drawing on composition, production and sound design capabilities. The degree supports pathways into professional music-making and creative industries roles, with opportunities to build career experience locally or internationally and to progress to an Honours year for further specialist study.
