UniSQ’s Bachelor of Environmental Science builds skills in environmental science, ecology, climate, biodiversity, conservation, wildlife and natural resource management. You’ll develop practical capability through fieldwork, lab activities, site visits and industry placement, with connections to UniSQ research centres. The degree also explores Indigenous relationships with Country and how these perspectives inform resource management in environmental science at bachelor level.

Graduates can pursue roles across government and industry where environmental expertise is needed. Opportunities span sustainability and conservation organisations, wildlife protection and management, mining and resource sectors, environmental consultancy, and broader environmental management roles. The qualification supports entry into applied work that combines field and analytical skills, preparing you for professional practice in environmental science with a bachelor-level foundation. Preparing graduates for laboratory technician, research assistant, and science-based industry entry roles.
