This major is offered within Curtin’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and focuses on engineering approaches to sustainable infrastructure and environmental protection. You’ll build capability in land and environmental control, including sustainable construction practices, pollution control, water and resource management, land remediation and waste management. The major also supports broader study through related minors or specialisations within a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in engineering.

Typical roles include environmental engineer, environmental consultant, environmental quality control engineer, site remediation engineer and water resources engineer in a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree engineering pathway.
