This one-year Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) is a focused honours program in ANU’s College of Business and Economics for high-performing graduates. It also supports preparation for research-intensive postgraduate study or roles requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills in commercial contexts.

Graduates are prepared for analytical and specialist roles across business and government, and for pathways into further study. Depending on the honours specialisation, outcomes may include careers in accounting, finance, marketing, management, international business, or business information systems. The advanced training and research capability can support entry to consulting, policy and advisory roles, or progression to postgraduate research programs.

Applicants must meet program-specific academic/non-academic and English language requirements. Admission is competitive due to limited places. Entry to the honours year is also subject to supervisory capacity and approval by the relevant delegated authority. A completed AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree (or international equivalent) within the last two years is required, and must satisfy the requirements of the chosen honours specialisation.
