A homegrown, university specific programme, usually the fastest and most affordable private route into a degree. It flows smoothly into the same university's bachelor programme, which makes it ideal if you already know where you want to study. The catch is portability, since a Foundation is best used at the institution that runs it.
One of the most globally recognised qualifications, from Cambridge or Edexcel. It suits academically disciplined students with strong English who perform well in exams and want maximum flexibility in degrees and destinations. It is often preferred for competitive fields such as medicine, engineering and law.
Both follow the Australian system and lead to a Year 12 qualification (ATAR), but they weight assessment differently. AUSMAT is roughly half coursework and half final exam, while SACE International is closer to 70 percent coursework. Both reward consistency over a single big exam, and both are recognised in Malaysia too.

The ADP lets you complete the first two years of a US style degree in Malaysia before transferring to a university in the United States, Canada or elsewhere. It offers flexible subject choices and active, discussion based learning, at a lower cost than studying in the US for the full duration.
