Studying can be a real drain on your pocket. It’s not just the fees themselves; pretty quickly you start discovering all the other little costs, from rent to student services and amenities fees.
Don’t despair, though. The University of Tasmania (UTAS) has announced it’s offering yet another fantastic grant to help students save some cash: a relocation bursary.
The Relocation Bursary for International Students offers students $1,000 to help with their costs of moving to Tasmania from anywhere in the world (even Tassie) to start study in Semester 1, 2017.
Flights with baggage from Melbourne to Hobart typically only cost around $80, while a flight from China might only cost around $800 so no matter where you come from you’ll still have money left over to spend on other costs.
Even better, all eligible students are automatically considered. So no need to make a separate application!
