The Xavier School, supported by AUG Philippines, emerged victorious in the University of Technology Sydney’s (UTS) Technology Innovation Competition in Sydney in April 2017.
The school’s “N-Light” and “Streetflow” entries won the People’s Choice and Grand Prize awards respectively, besting approximately 60 other participating schools across four Southeast Asian countries.
Other podium-finishing participants are from Indonesia’s Bina Bangsa School for their “HydroCity” entry in the 2nd place, and SMK Batu Lintang of Malaysia in the third spot.
This year, entries from the participating countries were screened down to top 3 to qualify for the People’s Choice, the winner from which had another entry qualifying as the fourth team.
